                 Abstract:AftertheimpoundmentoftheLDHydropowerStation,thedamcrestdeformationofitspower
                 housedamsectioncontinuedtoincrease,andthemaximumdeformationexceededtheoriginalcalculated
                 value.Inviewofthissituation ,afiniteelementsoftwareisusedforthesimulationcalculationofthesec
                 tionfromthreeaspects,namely,externalloadcomponent,temperaturecomponentandagingcomponent.
                 Thereasonforthecontinuousincreaseofdamcrestdeformationisanalyzedbycomparingthesuperim
                 poseddeformationwiththemeasureddeformation.Thecalculationresultsshowthattheexternalload
                 componentaccountedforthelargestproportionofthedamcrestdeformation ,whichwas50% ofthetotal
                 deformation,followedbytheagingcomponentandtemperaturecomponent,accountingfor27% and23%
                 ofthetotaldeformationrespectively.Afterthewaterlevelinfrontofthedamreachedthestablestate,the
                 deformationincrementofthedamcrestwasmainlycausedbyagingandtemperature,ofwhichagingde
                 formationaccountedfor86% andtemperaturedeformationaccountedfor14%.Withthepassageoftime ,
                 theconcretecreepgraduallyconverged,thetemperaturefieldgraduallystabilized,andtheagingdeforma
                 tionandtemperaturedeformationtendedtostabilizeaswell.Therefore,thedamcrestdeformationdidnot
                 continuetoincrease.Theoriginaldeformationcalculationmethoddidnotconsidertheinfluenceoftem
                 peratureandaging,resultinginthemonitoringvaluebeinggreaterthantheoriginalcalculatedvalue.Itis
                 suggestedthattheinfluenceoftemperatureandagingonstructuraldeformationshouldbefullyconsidered
                 inthedeformationcalculationofsimilarprojects.Theresearchresultscanprovideareferenceforthede
                 formationreviewandpredictionofthepowerhousedamsectionofriverbedhydropowerstations ,andpro
