Abstract:MineralwaterresourcesareabundantonthenorthernslopeofChangbaiMountaininJilin
Province.Findingoutthewaterconservationpotentialofthisareaiscrucialtotherationaldevelopmentof
mineralwaterresources.InVESTmodelisusedtocalculatewaterconservationandtheimpactfactors,
andLogisticmodelandecologicalbaseflowtheoryareadoptedtocalculateandevaluatethedevelopment
thresholdofmineralwater.Theresultsshowthatthetotalamountofwaterconservationinthenorthern

slopeofChangbaiMountainincreasedfrom1.4×10m in2000to1.68×10m in2020.Climateisthe
maininfluencingfactorofwaterconservation,controlling88.2% ofthestudyarea;however,climateand
landusejointlypromotedtheincreaseofwaterconservationintheareaswithincreasedvegetationcover

age.Therecommendedecologicalbaseflowis1.014-1.244m /s,andtherecommendedminingcoeffi
cientsforthesourceareaandmiddle&lowerreachesoftheriverare0.36-0.46and0.4-0.5 ,re
spectively.Atpresent ,theexploitationdegreeofmineralwaterisfarbelowthethresholdvalue,sothe
miningcanbecontinued.Inthispaper ,therelationshipbetweenwaterconservationandmineralwateris
clarified,vastforestareacultivatedalargeamountofwaterresources,andhighwaterconservationcan
ensurethequantityandqualityofmineralwater ,whichissuitablefordevelopmentandutilization.The
demarcationofdevelopmentthresholdisconducivetothesustainabledevelopmentofmineralwater.The
researchresultswillhavepositivesignificancefortheecologicalprotectionofChangbaiMountainandthe
