Abstract:InviewofthepollutionofCr( Ⅵ)inthegroundwaterofacontaminatedsite,westudiedthere
movalrateofCr ( Ⅵ)byfourindividualagentsandfourcompoundagentsbysinglevariablemethod.The
effectsofextractionconcentration ,dosageofreagent,dilutionratioofreagentandacidadditiononthein
situremediationofgroundwaterwerediscussed,andthereactionproductswereanalyzedbyscanninge
lectronmicroscopyandX-raydiffraction.Theresultsshowedthatthebestremediationeffectwasob
tainedwhenthemolarratioofcalciumpolysulfidetoCr ( Ⅵ)was2∶1.TheconcentrationofCr( Ⅵ)inthe
sandparticlesfromthesiteaquifershowedalineardistributionafterleachingwithpollutedwaterofdiffer
entconcentrations.EachcubicmeterofCr( Ⅵ)contaminatedaquiferofthesite(leachedat100mg/L)

required1.65Lof0.29×10mg/Lcalciumpolysulfidetoachievetotalremediation.Thedilutionratioof
calciumpolysulfidehadlittleeffectontheremovalrateofCr( Ⅵ);however,theadditionofacidcanpro
motethereductionofCr ( Ⅵ)bycalciumpolysulfide.Thereactionproductsofcalciumpolysulfidewith
Cr( Ⅵ)includedhydroxyapatiteandelementalsulfur.Thisstudyshowsthatthecombinationofcitricacid
andcalciumpolysulfidehasagoodeffectontheremediationoftheCr( Ⅵ)contaminatedsite,butthere
