Abstract:Asaspecialphenomenonintheprocessofglobalwarming,climatewarminghiatusischarac
terizedbyslow ,stagnatedordecreasedgrowthofairtemperature.TheecologyoftheMuUsSandyLand
isfragileandsensitivetoclimatechange ,theresearchonthehiatusandthecharacteristicsofairtemper
atureandprecipitationhasimportantreferentialvaluefortheappropriateadjustmentofregionalvegetation
ecologyprotectionpoliciesinthisarea.Basedonthegroundobservationdataofairtemperatureandpre
cipitationintheMuUsSandyLandduring1970-2019 ,weadoptedthelineartrendmethodandthe
Mann-Kendalltestmethodtoanalyzethehiatusandthecharacteristicsofairtemperatureandprecipita
tioninthisarea.Theresultsshowedtheinterannualandseasonalaverageairtemperatureandprecipita
tionincreasedsignificantly (P<0.05),presentingthecharacteristicsof“warmandhumid”intheMu
UsSandyLandduring1970-2019.From1998to2012 ,theannualaverageairtemperaturechangerate
was-0.70℃/10a(P<0.05),hiatuswasreadilyrecognized.Duringtheoccurrenceofhiatus,theav
erageairtemperatureineachseasonshowedadownwardtrend ,withthehighestdecreasingrateinspring
andwinter;whereastheannualprecipitationstillshowedanincreasingtrend,withthehighestincreasing
rateinsummerandautumn.Afterthehiatus(2012-2019),thechangeratesoftheinterannualand
