                 Abstract:Drinkingwatersafetyisthebasicrequirementforsafeguardinghumanhealth.Inviewofthe
                 safetyofruraldrinkingwaterinGansuProvince ,weadoptedtheanalytichierarchyprocess(AHP),en
                 tropyweight ,improvedTOPSISmethodandobstacledegreemodelfortheanalysis.Inordertoestablisha
                 comprehensiveevaluationindexsystemapplicabletoGansuProvinceandprovideascientificreferencefor
                 theconstructionofruraldrinkingwatersafetyprojects,weevaluatedtheruraldrinkingwatersafetystatus
                 ofGansuProvincein2005 ,2015and2020,andcomparedthedifferencesbetweentheevaluationresults
                 oftheimprovedTOPSISmethodandthefuzzycomprehensiveevaluationmodel.Theresultsindicatethat
                 inthepast15years ,thelevelofruraldrinkingwatersafetyinGansuProvincehasgraduallyimproved.
                 By2020,theruraldrinkingwatersafetylevelofallcitieshasreachedthelevelofbasicsafeandabove.
                 ThemainobstaclestotheconstructionofruraldrinkingwatersafetyinGansuProvincearethecentralized
                 watersupplyrateandthetapwaterpenetrationrate.Comparedwiththefuzzycomprehensiveevaluation
                 model ,theimprovedTOPSISmethodhasstrongerobjectivityandsmallinformationlossinthecalculation
                 process,whichcanbefurtherappliedtotheevaluationofruraldrinkingwatersafety.Theconstructionof
                 ruraldrinkingwatersafetyinGansuProvincehasachievedgreatresults,anditisnecessarytoconsolidate
                 andimprovearoundweaklinksinthefuture.
