                 Abstract:Inordertostudythehydrauliccharacteristicsofunilaterallydivergentstillingbasinsunderdif
                 ferentdiffusionangles,anumericalsimulationwascarriedoutusingtheTruVOFmethodandtheRNG
                 k-ε turbulencemodelbasedonFLOW -3D.Thecharacteristicsofthevelocityandvortexwasinvesti
                 gatedasthefocusofthestudy,andthecalculationresultsofthesurfaceline,timeaveragedpressure
                 werecomparedwiththoseofthephysicalmodeltest.Thecomparisonresultsshowthatthenumericalsim
                 ulationresultsarebasicallyconsistentwiththoseobtainedbymodeltest.Onthisbasis ,anindepthstudy
                 foundthatthevelocityonthebottomofthestillingbasinisunevenlydistributed,withalargervelocityon
                 thenondiffusionside.Withtheincreaseofthediffusionangle ,themaximumnearbottomvelocitygradu
                 allymovedtothenondiffusionside.Averticalvortexformedonthediffusionsideandgraduallyreached
                 theslabofthestillingbasinwiththeincreaseofthediffusionangle ,andthescaleofthevortexkeptin
                 creasingwithastableposition.Thestrongvortexsegmentappearedinthemiddleofthevortexandpres
                 entedtheregularitiesofdistributionofsmallatbothendsandlargeinthemiddlealongtheaxialdirec
                 tion.
