               Abstract:Inordertoclarifythecharacteristicsoftheflowstructureinthedownstreamentranceareaofthe
               navigationlock,soastorealizethequantitativepredictionofthenavigableflowconditions,anumerical
               simulationmethodwasusedtocarryoutthecalculationofthenavigableflowconditionsbasedonthegener
               alizedmodeloftheentrancearea.Meanwhile ,theflowstructurecharacteristicsandflowconditiondistribu
               tionlawintheentranceareawereanalyzed.Basedonthesensitivityanalysisoftheinflowvelocity,inflow
               angle ,andgeometricparametersoftheentrancearea,apredictionformulafortheextremevelocityinthe
               downstreamentranceareaofthenavigationlockwasproposed.Theresultsshowthattheflowstructuresin
               thedownstreamentranceareaofthenavigationlockisinatwodimensionalformandthepredictionformula
               fortheextremevelocityobtainedbytheregressionanalysisisreliableaccordingtotheverificationresultsof
               theactualmeasureddataofthespecificengineeringmodel.Theproposedpredictionformulaisconvenient
               andefficient ,whichprovidesanewapproachtothepredictionofnavigableflowconditionsinthedown
               streamentranceareaofsimilarnavigationlocks.
