                 Abstract:Quantifyingtheeconomicefficiencyofwaterconsumptionofdifferentcropsisthepremisefor
                 theregulationofagriculturalwaterconsumptionbyeconomicmeans.Basedonthewaterfootprinttheory,
                 wesimulatedthebluewaterfootprintandproductionwaterfootprintofmaincropsintheupstream of
                 Xiong ’anNewArea,andevaluatedtheeconomicefficiencyofthewaterfootprintincombinationwithsta
                 tisticaldata.Then ,thesimulatedresultswereverifiedbythesurveydata.Theresultsshowthatinthe
                 periodof2001-2016,thebluewaterfootprintsofwheat,maize,soybean,peanutandcottonranged

                 from384to4,611m /hm;theproductionwaterfootprintsrangedfrom4,122to6,453m /hm;the

                 economicefficiencyofbluewaterfootprintsrangedfrom1.15to19.29yuan/m;andtheeconomiceffi

                 ciencyofproductionwaterfootprintsrangedfrom0.38to2.02yuan/m.Therewasnosignificantdiffer
                 enceintheeconomicefficiencyofproductionwaterfootprintofdifferentcropsunderdifferenthydrological
                 yeartypes ,butthedifferenceofeconomicefficiencyofbluewaterfootprintwasverysignificant,especial
                 lyformaizeandsoybean.Intermsofspatialfeatures,theeconomicefficiencyofwaterfootprintinwest
                 ernmountainousareawaslowerthanthatineasternplainarea.However ,therewasacertaingapbe
                 tweenthesimulatedvalueofthemodelandtheeconomicefficiencyofthewaterfootprintintheactual
                 productionprocess,whichwasmainlycausedbythedifferenceofthewaterfootprints.
