Abstract:Tostudythecharacteristicsofsoilmoisturechangesofyellowfluvoaquicsoilsinthenorthern
AnhuiNorthPlainduringdifferentgrowingperiodsofmaize ,theYanglouWatershedwasselectedasthe
studyobject ,andcorrelationanalysisofgroundwatertable,thenumberofdayswithoutrainfallinthepre
viousperiod ,evaporationfromwatersurfaceandrainfallwasconductedusing0~50cmsoilwatercontent
datafrom2010-2018 ,andtherelativecontributionofdifferentdrivingfactorstosoilwatercontentwere
calculatedusingboostedregressiontreealgorithm.Theresultsshowedthatthesoilwatercontentde
creasedwiththeincreaseofthesoildepththroughoutthemaizegrowingseason.Twotypicalsoillayers
couldbeclassifiedaccordingtothecoefficientofvariation ,with0~10cmastheactivelayerand10~50
cmasthelessactivelayer.Soilwatercontentshowedasignificantnegativecorrelationwithwatersurface
evaporation,groundwatertableandthenumberofdayswithoutrainfallinthepreviousperiod,butasig
nificantpositivecorrelationwiththerainfall.Therelativecontributionofthenumberofdayswithoutrain
fallinthepreviousperiodtosoilwatercontentwasthelargest ,whichaccountedfor42.6%,followedby
thegroundwatertable,whichwas20.9%,andthecropgrowingperiodonlycontributed7.3%,which
